The Village Montana Group has been a family business since 1989, when its first 3-star residence, Le Cheval Blanc, was built in Val Thorens. Over more than thirty years, the company has carved out a place for itself in the mountain accommodation sector, building up a fine reputation along the way.

In 1966, Rachel Garrigasait and her husband Lluis Casserres took over the reins of the group created by her father, a mountain lover keen to share his passion. Right from the start, Village Montana chose to set up in internationally renowned high-altitude resorts, prized above all for their endless kilometres of skiing and snowboarding: Val Thorens and Val d'Isère.
